Thank you for this helpful and well-illustrated explanation. I was a breeder and exhibitor of parti-colored English Cocker Spaniels for nearly 20 years and have owned at least one for most of the years since. The only thing I would add is that in the US, your example of a black and white with ticking would be considered a light blue roan.

Good morning I am due to retire, in the next year, my Husband this September (2020). We are looking for Roan Show Type Cocker Spaniel Puppy to join us on our next adventure in our camper van. Hoping COVID19, issues are starting to lift now, and breeders breeding. I was waiting for a pup form Elaine Thomson, but her bitch only had four pups, (Golden). Any possibility we could be considered for one of your Puppies Please?

We lost our beautiful 'Sam' a blue Roan cocker Spaniel in June 2018 . Have his 5 generation pedigree which shows good SH Ch's PERRYTREE, QUETTADENE, BELIGAR, BITCON & WILHOLME on both his father & mothers side. Am looking to see if any puppies available with his line. Would be so interested to hear if anyone can help with information. Thanks. 14/feb 2019

Having lost my lovely rescue sprocker at 14yrs, wanted another loyal and lovable dog. We now have a great blue roan little girl and are enjoying all her antics. Her breeder is also very supportive.

Hello everyone, I need help with my 8 month old cocker. She is tri & blue roan with lemon roan. She has had digestive problems due to eating everything and anything. On top of which she has eye problems with eye lashes growing from her third eyelid. These have been plucked under sedation 3 times These were supposed to be removed tomorrow by surgrey but she has an accute upset stomach because she has scrounged something made of hard plastic and soft polythene wrap! We've been to the vets whos treated her with antibiotics and a pasted to help bind her. over the past 5 weeks she has developed aggression and fear of traffic. I've taken her to a local trainer who says that 'she is stubbon, and i need to be more assertive' which seems to be making her worse. All help greatfully received, please. Also i am disabled and walk on crutches. I've always had dogs whom i train for assistsance.
